The Havalon Piranta - Anyone use one?

Anyone use a Havalon Piranta-EDGE with Blaze Orange Handle?

    http://www.havalon.com/xt60-edge.html

The Piranta-Edge features surgically-sharp replaceable blades and an easy-to-find blaze orange handle. It's always sharp - just replace the blades and go! Each knife includes 12 additional stainless steel #60XT blades. The overall length of the knife open is 7-1/4". You'll like the easy-grip black rubber inlay, liner-lock construction and pocket clip.

Light weight, less than three ounces. And no need to carry extra knives, heavy files, stones or other sharpeners.

It's "The Sharpest Knife You'll Never Lose!"

    Thanks for the feedback.

It's an awesome knife. I have cleaned and quartered caribou with them. I also have seen a handful of bears cleaned with them and gave my buddy one and was asked by the other guide to bring him one. Both had used Target Panic's and loved it.
I would recommend getting the Havalon Tracer 22 though. Same thing as the piranta but it can hold all the blades not just the 60's like the piranta. I use the #22 blades over the 60's because the 22 has a more rounded edge so it won't cut holes in the hide while you are caping the animal.
Plus the #22 blades can be removed easier without cutting yourself. It's almost impossible to remove the 60# without pliers to hold the blade.

A lot of us here use 'em. Just search. Lot of good discussions in the past.

Been my skinner the last two years and wouldn't be without it.

I got one for Christmas. Haven't had the chance to use it, but can't wait. Prior threads on this topic convinced me that I needed one.

I use it day in and day out skinning heads to prep for euromounts as well as using them in the field. I have cleaned tons of hogs with them this year alone and they make quick work of them. The only draw back is that you can't cut through the rib cage with them. I keep an old knife handy just for that purpose.........
