    Maryland approves the use of deer birth control

    Here is an article I found in the news this morning. Sorry if it has already been posted.

    They tried it in one of the parks in Baltimore city a couple years ago it didnt work.
    It was stupidly expensiveand the they underdosed all of them.Big write up and huge embarassment to DNR.
    Its being approved is just some PR to make the tree huggers happy it will never be used.
    The sollution is simple if want to control any animals population kill young females.
    DUH
    I grew up in Maryland and have family still there the state government is idiotic.

        Well they approved the use of birth control in humans and it hasn't helped any. In fact I think overbreeding has gotten worse.

                "It will cost up to $1,000 to apply it to a deer," Peditto said. The deer must first be shot via dart gun to tranquilize it before Gonacon can be injected. EPA requires that the deer be tagged so that it can be identified as having been treated. Another tag will state that the meat of the animal should not be consumed by humans.

                Very sad 1000 bucks and than the meat is wasted

                    God forbid they spend the money on people who really need help!!!!!!
