    Central Park stroll.
    Check out Madison Square Garden.
    Pizza, for sure.
Hotdog @ Nathan's on the Coney Island Boardwalk.
The Amusement Park @ Coney Island (Ride the ferris wheel).
Broadway shows, I saw Blue Man Group and Lion King (Unbelievable).
    Ground Zero-no brainer.
    China Town is cool.
    Yankee Stadium.
    Empire State Building.
FAO Schwarz-Coolest toy store ever, play with the big piano from "Big".
Check out the Wax Museum-Crazy cool.
We went on a dinner cruise our last night there-Amazing.

A MUST do is keep your wallet deep in your pocket and watch your back.
A must don't is don't expect anyone to be polite or nice.

        Forgot some!

        Statue of Liberty-Obviously.
        Ellis Island-VERY interesting...
        Check out Rockafellar Center
        Check out 5th Ave-Bring $...Lots...
The Sea Port area is a neat place to check out.
Check out all of the people on the streets playing music, break dancing, acting crazy-Just people watching in NYC can be verrrry entertaining.

Last but not least, just enjoy and see all that you can while you're there. It's definately an experience. Soak it in!

Definately! Watch yourself, trust no one up there. I held the door open for a lady that freaked out on me because she thought I was up to something?!?! Sorry lady, it's how we do it where I live and it's how I was raised. learned my lesson by that.

My wife and her 2 sisters just returned form a weeks in NYC and she said almost to the person, every tour guide they used told them NOT to go to the Statue of Liberty. they said that you are dropped off and have to spend the whole day on the island and there is not enough to do for a whole day. if you really want some sugggestions that are really fresh, shoot me a PM and i will get my wife to let you know what they did and what they would recommend.

After your three post I'm starting to question your citizenship.... Is a background check in order.

I saw the Lion King in Vegas and it's well worth it, the only thing I haven't seen mentioned is the USS Lexington.

Don't Eat out of the street vendors unless you wanna get sick.Do go to KATS DELI for a monster roast beef and pastrami sand wich.Don't drive your car unless you want it to come back looking like it was in a demolition derby. And DO stop in a fire house and give thanks to the gentlemen who lost so many of their brothers on 9-11

LOL no, I went there with my parents for a vacation in 2004 for a week. We literally got to see/do just about everything. Had a great time, but I was real ready to get back to Texas!

From a small town Texas boy that has only been to NYC once: See a broadway show. At least one if not more.

When I went was before 9/11 but if I ever go back I will visit ground zero to pray on sacred ground.
