Well I have been out to my spot several times since the opener and have yet to see a deer
I haven't even seen any pics on my camera either
Well I felt it today on the way home and knew that this little front that just pushed in would have the deer moving. I got home a little late and when I finally got out there I climbed into the stand to see a doe and twin fawns almost to my feeder. I was able to get into the stand without the deer spooking and blowing all over the place. They didn't stay that long, but they didn't really know what was causing that tree to move a little bit.
I also got a good look at my little freak. He came in shortly after the threesome left. He is a six point that looks like a pronghorn antelope!! I watched him for a while and that was it. Doesn't sound like much, but I haven't even seen a deer at my stand in 3 weeks. This is a stand that has produced two back to back P&Y bucks for me in as many years. I was looking at number 3 earlier this year but he was killed by a car. There aren't many days that I have sat in that stand and not seen a deer. I was getting worried since there is a lot of new construction in the area. I guess it has just been the heat and the acorns falling
