I drive an '04 z71 loaded. I'm not really an SUV guy, but sold my truck and bought the wife a new car so I got her hand me down. Anyway, I LOVE it! The captains chairs are a great invention fit keeping kids separated on road trips! I get about 14 city and 19 hwy. My ONLY gripe is that it doesn't have a pickup bed!

Curious as to why you wouldn't recommend as a daily driver? I have an 03 Z-71with 170,000 plus and never had a single issue. Change the oil and rotate the tires. That's it. Starts every time I turn the key and runs great. Only downside is it's probably the easiest vehicle in the world to steal.

Not what I was trying to communicate on my previous post. I would certainly recommend it as a daily driver with the capability to go off road. But I wouldn't get crazy with the off road modifications if it is your daily driver. Getting heavy on the off road modifications will rarely be uesd and because that isn't what it is really meant for. Can you make one for that? Sure you can.
And yes they are easy to steal. I had an 08 stolen and it was a great truck. Wish I had it back.
