That little ol band from Texas!

We are making a road trip to Belton tonight to see Z Z Top. They have been on my quiver list for a few years now.

My favorite Z Z Top song is "Legs".

This is the first of many items in the quiver that is going to be knocked and ready to rock in my 50th year of life on this earth.

I have never been a fan of going to concerts, and I don't listen to much music in my old age either, but I can't turn the radio off if it's La Grange, It's Only Love, Tush, Sharp Dressed Man, Legs, to name a few. I loved ZZ Top when I was a kid in high school, and here I am an old man - and they're still rockin'.

Frank Beard lives on a nice little ranch at the beginning to our subdivision. On his gate, instead of "Back Forty" it says "Top Forty" in those cool ZZ Top letters.

My all time favorite though has to be La Grange.

ZZ fan myself. Man I saw them in some awesome concerts back in the day! They are unbelievably good. Enjoy the show and give us a report when you get back.

"...they got a lotta nice girls...have mercy!..."

Saw them with BB King as the opening act in 1984 at
Reunion Arena. Both put on a great show.

We bought our tickets four weeks ago, see y'all there, look for the TBH hat.
