I heard that! I havn't been to the new one, but I was quite a fan of the old one. I wonder if it's the same guy that owned the other one? I can't remember his name, but he was a good dude......and I THINK he married a girl I knew named Katrina......
Scott Copeland used to be in there all the time playin for drinks, seems like Randy Rogers was in some too. I don't remember Casey Donahew being there, but I do know the Burleson/Cleburne contingent was well represented.
I'd still rather he use actual locations that exist if he's gonna write a song about the greatness of North Side, and Cowtown.
CDB has some good songs but Im not a fan of his shows. too citified for texas country to me. Give me a guy with an acustic guitar that can play it and sing good and im set. Not a fan of the whole band type shows anymore. No flashy light and smoke.
