    Superchips Cortex Programmer

Trying to help a friend out, he's got a 2010 or 11 gasser (suburban). He's looking into getting some more power when towing and a programmer he can change programs with often if needed. He's been looking at the one in the subject and wanted to know if something better is available. I told him I would ask on here. Any suggestions? I've always been under the notion that when dealing with gas engines he's pretty limited and probably can get as much from one programmer as another. Correct me if I'm wrong.
    Thanks!

You're not wrong. He will spend a lot of money for a little gain.

Maybe in his head, unless it's a diesel.

Gas programmers are good for changing shift points and speedo correction but they offer very minimal gains in hp/tq.
