Need help on vinyl siding repair

At the MIL's house again readying it to put on the market. She has vinyl siding on the house that is in good shape overall. There is a small place where I am need a replacement piece on the soffitt. It is non perforated and is D5 Almond color best I can tell. Does anyone know where I can get a remnant or possibly 1 stick of the stuff. So far all I have been able to track down is something at Lowe's made by Georgia Pacific but I have to buy a full box and that is going to cost about $300. I can get the plain white soffitt but then would have to paint it and not sure how that would look. I am leaning towards that unless someone has other leads for me. Thanks in advance for any help/advice. Oh and Im in the Sugar Land area.

If you know the maker of the siding you can get it shipped to you.

might try and take a piece to Home Depot and see if they can match it for ya. I had to do the same a few yrs. back and they hooked me up. Goood luck.

Or find a mobile home dealer near you and they might be able to help you.

Call a few local siding contractors with the color and ask if they can help you out with your mom's house repair, you'll pay or drop off a 6 pack. Even in CA there are a lot of good guys if you ask. Also post on craigslist, say you want the material or the repair done, use siding repair as words in case they're searching key words.

Place in Houston called Texas Building products?? I think? Been a long time since I used them. Or as BiSJ said, try a Siding contractor, they always have remnants around.
