    Daily Devotional #4

Today i want to talk about another person who is the Ultimate Warrior/Fighter.David was by all accounts a loner a shephard in the fields or rocks would be better description.Someone who would spend many days and nights by himself in the wilderness tending what some have called the most absent minded animal on earth.I can see him going to church and someone asks what do you do i am a shephard and them thinking well God could never use someone like that i mean i have a great paying job big house and drive a nice camel/car God would use someone like me i am sure.Little do they know of the nights that our awesome God sees this little shephard boys heart as a wolf comes to take his pickings and he risks his life for just one sheep(I wonder how many wolves coats David had .Or a thief comes to take his pickings and gets a staff upside the head and a left punch in the eye and a knee well you know were lol , For what a sheep? And a little bit of pay if any. No but for his character and honor in the way he does his job when no one else is looking or cares to say to him well done.God knows if he will risk life and limb for one sheep then here is a man who will risk all for the sake following me.Well we know what David went on and did.The only man in the bible that God said was after his own heart.Just remember in our busy life take the time out today to make a diffrence to just one. With a pat on the back job well done,Wanna go to lunch,How about this one buy the guys order behind you in the line and give the cashier a card to give to him.watch and see what happens.Tommorow i will list a bunch of things we can do just to bless just one.Read 1 Samuel chapter 16 God bless Keep fighting till the end.

I couldn't remember who it was that used to post the daily scriptures, Billy. I told Ken that we used to do it when he asked permission to post them, and couldn't remember why it ever stopped either.

Thanks for posting them, Ken. You might start posting them with the date instead of a number (ie, Daily Devotional for 10/9) to keep better track of them. I'm enjoying reading them in the mornings.
