now let me start of by saying our landowners don't hunt, but he knows what big deer are. he could careless about hunting and rarely gets excited about hunting. in the 12 years of my dad being on the lease (the last 8 for me), he has called about one deer he has seen on the place. i was lucky enough to get him with a rifle and he is my biggest to date.

anyhow, he called pops this evening and stated he has seen a buck that looks to have 5 on one side (don't know if he meant including browtine or not). and he
think it will make the one i shot a couple of years back look like a "pup", in his words. so needless to say i am pumped and cant wait till rifle season.

Im tellin anyone who will listen I think their are going to be some BIG deer killed this year....and more than usual deer over 160 will be entered in the LC.

I have the same question as SMART. That is a messed up rule. However, if there are deer like that on the property I guess a person could wait it out.
