Well maybe not to graphic but I put the warning anyway.
I had the chance to go and TRY to help a buddy remove some hogs from his place out by Marquez Tx. this weekend. We gave it a good try and ended up with 2 good eatin' size porkers.
The first was a pretty worn down sow. She still had full baby bottles so I figure the piglets were wearin her down pretty bad. I took her at 150 yards with my 22.250. Quartering slightly away shot. Just behind the right shoulder. The bullet hit the offside shoulder and never exited, but there was no need. She dropped right in her tracks! This is the first critter I have shot with this rifle since I bought it from a fellow TBH'er awhile back. I have to admit, it surprised me with the damage. Once I skinned her out, there was a cavity large enough to stick a soda/beer can into her chest!! Sorry, no damage pic here. Just the aftermath...

The second was a young boar hog we caught in one of the traps we had set. This little dude had cutters that barley broke the gumline but he had the attitude of a monster boar!

He was slammin the trap trying to get to "Ketchup" (a guy who lives on the place's dog that strayed up one day), and also trying to get at Craig and I....... Again, this is the first time I have used this weapon on a critter but my Glock 22 in 40 sure settled his anger issues (here is the graphic pic)!

Me, Craig, and Ketchup

Had a BLAST!!!!! And ready to go do it again!
