Reviews of any and all Game Cams

I did a search but couldnt find a comprehensive list of reviews for various Trail Cams.... So I decided it might be time for one.

Post up what you have used, and your experience with it, pros/cons, battery life, ease of set up, interval, quality of night and day pics...etc...

If any mods have a dog in this fight it might be helpful to also have a poll?

    I will start:
Stealth Cam IR: Ive had two, one just kicked the bucket after about 4 years of use (3.5 in the field continually), the other is three years old. Both function identically to the other.

Pros: Nice pics, good quality both day and night, I set it for 1 pic every minute.

Cons: Slow trigger speed, A TON of false pics no matter what the sensitivity is set on, will trigger on a windy day, all day. Also battery life is terrible (probably because of all the wind pics). Longest it ran on a set of batterys was three months, worst was 2 weeks. Runs off 8 C batteries.

Bushnell TC: Owned for 5 months, So far so good.

Pros: Better quality pics than the Stealth IR. Small, this thing is tiny about 1/4th the size of the Stealth Cam. Holds up to 16gb sd card. No false triggers as of yet.

Cons: Set it up for 2 pics per minute and it was dead in 1 month, 8 AA's is said to run for up to a year, mine was dead in a month 6,000 pics all action pics no false triggers (set up on the gut pile after season, lots of action).

The TC is set up on my new lease now but havent been back to check it out, will have more reviews for it maybe next weekend.

I use Wildgame innovations ir 4 and cuddeback capture 3 mp and 5mp ir.
All 3 take very good daytime pictures not a big fan of the capture 5mp ir nite photos. Trigger speed of the cuddeback is second to none but the Wildgame is not that bad either. The cuddebacks are $100-150 more than the Wildgame ir 4. Wildgame takes 4 c batteries and cuddebacks take 4 d batteries and both use sd cards. Both are very easy to setup and get going. Both eat the batteries pretty good. Overall you can't go wrong with either one.

I have way too many brands to play this game, but I can say I will only buy reconyx or buckeye cams. the primos is the best "cheapy" cam and only one I will buy as a throwaround. Go to chasingame.com and read their reviews.

I have a Bottom of the line moultrie pos that take the crappiest pics ever but some of the best video I've seen.... The seal leaked somewhere and water got to the display so I can't see the digital screen anymore (still takes pics tho)
It's lasted me 5-6 seasons in the field tho if that counts for anything.....

Can you guys list a few more websites that do this besides chasing game.

I have 4 cuddeback flash. I've had them two years and all have performed nicely. One camera takes pics of the slightest movement but It's because I have it the way I do and don't want to move it. Pictures both at night and day are really good and have been dependable. Battery life varies on how many pictures are taken but around 8 weeks on a set of batteries.

I just purchased two truthcam X cameras and have them attached to wildgame extenal batteries. The menu system is really nice with lots of features. The video is good quality in both IR and daylight. You can set the video time to different times and intervals between videos. The videos upload to my ipad along with the pictures and look great. It's too early for all the rest, I got them on Saturday.

                  X2 on this.

I have and several of the guys on our lease use the Bushnell Trophy cams and
so far never an issue. Can take up to a 16g card and battery life is unsurpassed.

For all those people who find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than to Google it for themselves.

That black screen with white lettering is a killer! Im glad TBH is green and black, soothing almost.

How did those 4 cams you put out last year do? Like i said I did some research before I started this thread.
