I'm a Rage fan but have read bad reviews with the Rage vs Hogs..With little penitration. I'm shooting a Parker Wildfire XP with a 56lb draw. What would your recommendation be on a broadhead to blow through a pig?

I agree with you about placement!
It doesn't matter what you use if your placement is right.some just compensate better
Ive used Rockets,Muzzys,Slick Tricks,Vortex,Steel Heads, and the list goes on but Im just as happy with the Rage as any of the others. Not starting a mechanical verses fixed blade tabu but the fact is if you shoot them in the butt odds are you wont recover them
Placement is the key to any animal recovery.

i've killed them with both fixed and rage...the ones that got the rage left a much better blood trail though. i dont have much broadhead loyalty. I currently have rage 2 and 3 blades, G5 montecs and strikers, and some NAP bloodrunners (2 and 3 blade). they all seem to work for me...especially for hogs
