    Storage Container- Roof Suggestions?

I am getting a 20' storage container for the ranch (2003 model). I was planning on applying a coat of roof tar to prolong the life of the roof.

Has anyone ever done this? Would it help? Any other recs?

    Thanks!

What I've done is repaint the roof with gloss white rustoleum. Seemed to cool it off just a tad and halted the rust spots that I had.

Thanks for the recs from the TBH braintrust. I would have been covered with black roof tar. I will not be using roof tar..... but will go with the gloss white rustoleum and aluminum paint.

Where can I find silver aluminum mobile home paint?

even better, find someone to spray it with urethane foam, then coat it with white elastomeric. It will last for years and wont be nearly as hot in the summer or cold in the winter.

            better than a Yeti.....

I know a guy who does it Bernie Killman - 940-594-3540 - he's in Weatherford.
