Christoval fire

Talked to my Daughter about an hour ago, she lives 5 or 6 miles north of Christoval on Reece road west of 277, and said there was a fire about 3 miles south of her headed her way. Please send on up for the fire fighters and residents in that area.

sent, hope they are able to get it contained. Grandmother lives on 2084 about 8 miles south of Christoval, we were out there about 3 weeks ago on a turkey hunt and that whole country could burn up in about an hour. It is horrible dry out there. Hope all goes well.

Update. Sheriff came by and told them to evacuate.

this is the report I got....it is 4-5 miles north of Christoval moving north..

Thanks. Very bad situation for all involved, hope they are able to get it under control. Folks are on pins and needles out there everyday, scared to death that a fire may start cause they all know once one starts it is going to be a disaster.

Just talked to my daughter and sounds like it is headed to Lake Nasworthy.

Talked to the daughter again and the local Angelo 6 pm news said it was just 30% contained. They are back home on Reece road. Thank you everybody. Don't know if the news is right or not.
