    I thought that a food plot might be better than my feeder alone is doing. The deer are always on the move. Even if they come to the feeder they just eat a little and move on.

      This is true. It would help and maybe your deer would react differently to it than mine.

        Its usually an additive to food plot mixes and has two species: annual and perennial. Comes up very easily but from what I have seen the deer prefer the other stuff in the mix rather than the rye grass.

        Yes its protein level is high and very palatable. Just been my experience with it.
        this depends on where you are at I believe. I had the same issue in the area I hunt, it grew great but they never would touch it.
