I was at camp this weekend and didn't even manage to rustle up one gobble. No bird sightings or anything. This was my first (and probably my last) trip to Hallettsville this turkey season. Saw plenty of birds back during deer season and they do usually move their roosting area by spring but this year it seems they've packed and moved away. Anybody else been chasing 'em in the Hallettsville area this year?
