Prayers sent. I lost my dad in 1997. We were very close, and spent a lot of time fishing and sailing together. Just a few weeks after his passing, I was chatting with former TSRA president Jim Nicholson at Dallas Pistol and Revolver Club after a pistol match. He had also recently lost his father. He offered that in time, my dad would return in my dreams, first silently, and then speaking. Jim was right. I now very often see my dad, hear my dad's voice, and converse with him in my dreams. I am comforted that he is still with me, imbedded within me. You to, will see and hear from your father as well.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers everyone. It's been a difficult time but we're getting through it. My 4 year old daughter has said that she has had sweet dreams about her Pops every night since he passed. It's so comforting to know that he is watching over her. She says that she now has her own special angel. I know she's right!
