    Speed Limit Question

Can anyone show me where the law defines "day" and "Night" when it pertains to the speed limit?

I currently use the 30 min before and after as we use in hunting.

Nighttime is half an hour after sunset to half an hour before sunrise.

I think that is what he is referring too. What is the official line to determine when the limit drops 5mph

Here if you want to see it with your own eyes. Texas Transportation Code Section 541 Definitions.

          TRANSPORTATION CODE

          TITLE 7. VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC

SUBTITLE C. RULES OF THE ROAD

          CHAPTER 541. DEFINITIONS

          SUBCHAPTER E. MISCELLANEOUS TERMS

Sec. 541.401. MISCELLANEOUS TERMS. In this subtitle:

          (1) "Daytime" means the period beginning one-half hour before sunrise and ending one-half hour after sunset.

          (5) "Nighttime" means the period beginning one-half hour after sunset and ending one-half hour before sunrise.

When my automatic headlights come on I slow down.
When they go off I speed up.

X2. I figure if I need my headlights on to see, I need to slow down.
