    Dang South Wind!!

My favorite (and currently the only active) hog feeder is not huntable with these south and southeast winds that seem to always be blowing. All the primary bedding areas of the early arrivers are to the NW so I blow everything if I try to hunt with these winds---Just not enough "northers" or calm evenings for my liking!

No other way to set up either--

I know what ya mean brother. I hunt public and can't feed, or hunt, if the winds are to high.

It's beating me to death on the lake too! Not to mention I couldn't hear a turkey gobble if he was in my vest

Try using a ton of cover scent.
Hang a fresh burlap bag full of cow poop near your stand.
Use vanilla in your corn and as a cover scent.
I've used both coon & hog pee and had luck with hogs down wind too.
Are you on the ground or up in a tree?
