Ameristep oops!

We bought 4 of the Ameristep G-30's a week ago Saturday for darting at Bass Pro shop in SA on sale for like $70 each...I had never seen/used one but the price was definitely right for a darting/bowblind and we use a lot of them...

As I was setting them up I was thinking...darn...these are REALLY NICE for $70...

We were in a hurry to get them set up, move some tripods, etc. and as fast as we put them out, brushed them in, trimmed shooting lanes etc. we moved on.

I hunted one yesterday morning and understand now why they were so nice.

Those were Intimidators in the G-30 boxes. No kidding.

LOL...yeah, I thought about it for a few seconds. We had already burned the boxes and had the popups out for a week. Bass Pro would have been like what? You wan't to do WHAT? Because they are too GOOD? Thinking it through, it was probably the Chinese supplier that made the mistake...the boxes were clearly G-30 boxes.

The same thing happened to me and my brother except we were working in Phoenix,Az a few months ago when we bought ours. I couldnt believe that they screwed up so bad but I guess its there loss and our gain!

They had the intimidator up as the demo and the boxes were inside the blind. If i remember right, they even had a little sticker on the box that said it was the intimidator.
