Airsoft guns in stores?

Anyone know if the good ones are available in stores? I would like to get it this weekend if poss.

My son wants this Airsoft M500 Tactical Shell-Fed Shotgun HeavyHitter... it's 400fps fer cryin' out loud!

Yah - he came back from fishing with his buddies last weekend, with a cringe worthy welt on his tum from one of those cheapy Bass Pro pistol dealios. So... there will be some kind of "Airsoft safety education" home-school class before he cuts loose with this one.

Yea, Academy has some cool full auot ones and I believe they have that one.

Hmm - didn't think to look at Academy (D'oh!). Looking at the website, they do have some decent selections but not the particular one that he wanted. However, it sounds like he's willing to compromise. Kids! They're so fickle.

Will hit a coupla stores today.

I got a sweet MP5 and SIG 552 at Gander MTN. They are pretty awesome, I can destroy some beer bottles with them, and they are full Auto.

Sooo, after almost getting a clearance item at Academy - a Mossberg M500 shotgun - I convinced him to check the reviews before pulling the trigger, so to speak. There was no cell reception to check it in-store, so he patiently waited while we did all the other errands. Good job too, as the Mossberg reviews weren't too good.

We just ordered the shotgun from the Airsoft megastore. It was on sale too.

I hope he's a happy chappy when it arrives.
