One of the vets comes to work yesterday and asks me to look at a gun he has that belonged to his grandpa to see what type of ammo he needed for it. He said he tried some 22 ammo because he thought thats what it was but it just fell out of the barrel when tried it. As you can tell he knows very little about guns and has only got interested lately due to his sons intrest in hunting. He brings the gun in and its a winchester lever action. from one look I could tell it was very old. My first thought it might be a 30-30 , but once I picked it up I relized I had a relic in my hand. I looked at the top and it had 32 WCF on the barrel. it also marked as a model 1892. I am at this point getting very excited about this gun. I get on the phone and call a client of ours that works at the cabelas gun library. He ran down to the clinic to take a look. After a little research the gun was made in 1902 and was valued at $1500-2500. Very cool old gun. My coworker was quite surprised that the gun had that much value and was that old.
