    How far would you go......

So I was watching Mob Wives the other day and the lengths the women go to for (and to protect) their families is unreal.........

So lets make it a little more realistic and a little more southern fried.......

If your son or daughter breaks the law while hunting (age doesn't matter - 6, 16, or 36)...... tresspassing, kill an illegal deer, or whatever.........
Would you go out of your way to hide or cover up the crime to protect your child ?

My Answer: I would do everything in my power to hide the infraction without breaking the law myself.

Hiding the infraction would be breaking the law...

If my child did this because of something that i didn't teach them... Then yes i would do everything in my power to hide it... If it was something that i have taught them not to do... Then they would be on their own... They need to learn the consequences for their actions, good or bad...

I believe sometimes you have to learn the hard way. I learned many of things the hard way and thankfully my parents never held me down but they also never babied me. Just like daddy said, " your man enough to get yourself in that situation, be man enough to face it."

So if my son/daughter did anything illegal I am not going to cover up anything.

I would go as far as the script told me to go, just like on that show. In real life with no camera, I would hope I brought up my child well enough to know that breaking the law is NOT ok, so I would not have to go very far at all.

**** it ! Well Im surprised the women would protect their kids and the men won't !

Now if that doesn't stir the pot a little nothing will.

I turned myself in for a game violation. Do you think my kid would get a pass?

Break the law, reap the consequences.

I cant believe youd say that youd teach your kids to hide things and be a bad person?

You do the crime you have to do the time.

                          I'd be a character witness.

I would like to know just how many would actually give their kids up if it was the real deal and they were looking at time... lot different talking about it IMO

My kids will get brought up the same way I did. If you did wrong its time to grow up and fess up. Hard lesson to learn. My dad was a cop and always told me if I ever got arrested HE better be the last person I called
