He is still alive and bigger!!!

I missed this buck at ten yards two years ago and have not seen him till this morning. I would have had a shot but he came through the woods like a ghost. He was 30 yards when i saw him and at a steady walk. I was afraid to try to grab my bow. By the time i got my boy he was well past me. I watched him go out of sight. I hope he does the same routine in the morning. I will never hang my bow again!!!

That's why I hold my bown all the time in a stand. Not to say I would have got him, but you never know when one sneaks in on you like that. Good luck in the morning!

I do not have any pics of this deer. I do not use trail cameras. I would like to learn to use a video camera. I know this is the same buck because of the sticker on his g2. When i first seen this buck he was about 13 inch 8 point with a sticker. This year he is still an 8 point with a sticker but about 18 inches with longer beams and tines. For the area i hunt he is a nice buck. I sure hope i get a second chance in the morning. I sure hope to post a pic of this buck soon.

This also showed me what a couple of years of growing can do.
