    Jennings 9mm

Anybody know anything bout Jennings pistols Got a SS steel I can get for 150 or so?

I have had a couple of them that I took in on trades. They are heavy, and I thought the safety sucked. Its only good for using as a cheap plinker! DO NOT trust the pistol with your life!!!!!!!

Its a crapshoot on whether it will be reliable or not.

$150 is to high for a used one. If its new then get it.

FYI, Jennings, Lorcin(sp?), Raven.....and a few more that escape me now are POS's. I call them disposable handguns. They break(and they will), you throw them away. Wouldn't take one if given to me.

I'd stay away from Jennings pistols. They are known for jamming and not being reliable!

Unless you want to keep it forever, you will not be able to resell it. Don't have it as your main weapon.

Can find them on most gangsters cause they are cheap and easy to come by.

I was wondering what one looked like, googled 'jennings 9mm'. Here's one of the links that came up on www.packing.org:

              Avoid it like a plague

One of my friends has a Jennings 9MM. We took our CCW class together and when it came time to do the weapons proficiency part the range master refused him admission to range when he saw the weapon. I've been shooting with him, it is a POS big time it jammed every second shot, it tried to put another in the pipe without ejecting the casing

i have one that stays under the seat in my truck. fired it 200 or so times and not one jam. I leave it in the truck. I dont want the other one bounceing around all the time.

Is it the Jennings POS model 1 or POS model 2? Seriously, I would stay as far away from it as possible, feeding and extracting problems galore. Certainly nothing you can trust your life to, heck, I'd rather have a nice rock to throw at a bad guy. At least I know the rock would function properly at least once.......................

I have one and never had it jam. It is really not a straight shooting gun but it is a hell of a noise maker.

                          They're good throw-away guns. I had a 380 and a 22
