    Website????

A while back someone posted a site that included several arial photo programs.

For the life of me, I can't find this on the search function.

Can someone please post that link or links that are similar.

I'm not talking google earth. It actually had more detailed pics and was free of charge.

    Thanks,

Probably me, I take the blame.

    Microsoft Virtual Earth, www.maps.live.com

Lets you tilt the angle, rotate North, overlay with roads.

If you want an aerial with the UTM/lat-long grid on it to navigate, www.mytopo.com has a hybrid aerial-topo-UTM/lat-long. They will print and sell fantastic maps either folded or laminated for your area. If also do a map-preview on their web site, then view the whole map, and right-click to save the jpeg image. The you can print it out. Nowhere near as nice, but the price is right.

Here's 2 I just did, I found out this week I can (legally) hunt the former salt evaporation ponds at the south end of SF Bay, 10+ minutes from my office. I wanted to get some aerial and topos with UTM grid playing around on the computer. I left them BIG so you can see the detail. These were both free to do.

BTW, the building complex above the right corner of the box "Work here" is the Yahoo corporate headquarters.
