Im working the Marine KC-130T static display on saturday so if you go come by and say hi. I'll be in the flight suit with the sgt Abbott patch.

I work on the Lockheed side of the runway at JRB and we've been watching them practice all week. It's all ways cool to see.

Has anyone gone to something like this before and if yes, how is the traffic and noise? My kids are small (all three under 7 years) and I want to make sure we do not bite off more than we can chew!

Traffic is not bad usually until you get to the base. Bring ear plugs for all. If you forget, stop by my c130, usually have a bunch on the plane but no promises.

Also this weekend is the Main St. Festival in down town Fort Worth. I have heard this is an awesome event. I plan to walk down town today and check it out for awhile.

It can be loud, but worth it. Ear plugs a must. Very awe inspiring. The kids will love it. I went to the Air show in San Antone last summer, saw the Thunderbirds. Can't wait till I get a chance to see the Blue Angels.
