Thinking about setting up a big hog trap on my place in Rocksprings. There are a lot of Axis deer around the place and I was wondering if its against any game law to keep any Axis that get caught in the trap too? I know you can take the hogs since they are not game animals but not sure about Axis.

Axis are just like hog's shoot them day or night ! but you still have to have a hunting license.Comment

Axis, white deer, chocolate deer, hogs, cyotes all fall into the same category. You can spotlight them and hunt them year aroundComment

FalLow deer...sorry. I have always called the that but there correct name is white fallow and chocolate fallow. Both exotics and can be hunted year around and at night. But I think people should still use some common since and not end up shooting pregnant deer.Comment
