need a little vet advice ?

Any help would be great. I have a 2 year old bull mastiff, he has 3 legs . he is missing his front right leg. Ok so here is the problem his hind legs have joint problems. One has a tore tendon. The tendon the would normally keep the knee from moving sideways .My vet was going to do surgery on one of them till he took x rays and seen both legs had problems. He did do some kind of laser treatment on them and it seems to be working real good, Would it help any if I gave him a joint supplement medicine ?

There is a joint medicine for dogs but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it. We would give it to our heeler when he started have joint pain and it really helped him in his later years. I just remember that it was a soft treat kinda like a cookie and we got it from our vet. Sorry I'm not more helpful but that's all I got.

Cosequin DS is the glucosamine/condrotin supplement for dogs. I give my 2 Rotties this and it does seem to help. I have had the knee surgery once on my male, torn ACL, and on both back legs of my female.

The cheapest I have found this is at 1-800-PETMEDS.

x2 but look at the dosage (mg) and then go to a Wally World. Look for it on the pharmacy shelf, next to vitamins. You might have to cut the pills in half but it's a lot cheaper. Same ingredients.
