Got Mack GSP back from the Vet yesterday

He tested positive for heart worms, he has been treated and back home in his pen. Yesterday was not that bad, today is a different story. He has been crying a lot today wanting out to run around, but he is on lock down from the next 30 days. I not sure if it going to be rougher on him or me.

BTW, the vet did the x rays and all of his oragans looked great. I am just wandering how accurate the worm test is.

The test is extremely accurate. Sounds like he may have been in the early stage. Do not get lax with the confinement. I have seen too many dogs survive the treatment only to die at home because the owner felt sorry for them and let them out.

He is in lock down, I did walk him down to the pond on a leash this afternoon. No running for him until after his next Vet visit...
