I know nothing about this sight, but it looks to like that clear plastic (or whatever it is) could get torn pretty easily...Not sure.

I'm trying one out right now. It's actually a very cool concept, and the piece of lexan that is in there is much more resilient than you would think. However, I can see it getting scratched and or dirty and causing problems. I bought it to try out in my Double Bull blinds because the contrast from the dark interior of the blind and then looking out into the bright sunlight caused me problems seeing my pins. I have no problem seeing the dot on this sight. Also, as it gets dark you can adjust the brightness down to where it doesn't wash the target.

I will probably send this one back to Bass Pro because I think there are improvements that can be made and I think they are a bit overpriced.

I wonder if the hoglite will "wash" it out when hog hunting in dark conditions, like it does on some colored pins!! cool concept though
