Anyone in the Junction area?

Have a kayak trip planned for Friday and Saturday on the South Llano River. Is it worth the trip? Will I be pulling the boat the whole time? Any help appreciated.

I bet the water is very low. Call the chamber of commerce out there

We got some rain about last Saturday or Sunday night but not enough to get water flowing.....that was the first rain in a couple of months or so....I would bet the river is low.....

Just talked to my folks in Junction, have only had about 1/2" of rain in a few months. They said the river is very low

The guy at South Llano Canoe and Kayack says it is runnable in a kayack. Sure hope he is not just wanting the business. Hopefully we will catch some fish. I am bringing some backstrap just in case though. I will update with pics when I return.

You might check the city of llano...they usually have better water there...
