Intersection question - Which lane would you turn into?

There is an intersection I go through several times a week and I see 50% of the people go into the wrong lanes when they turn. It almost causes a wreck every time. It is a double turn lane. I am wondering how many of you would go into the correct lane.

Don't look at the other people's responses, just go to the bottom and put which lane you would go into.

In the picture below lanes 1 and 2 are double turn lanes from road X to road Y. Lane 1 is a left turn only. Lane 2 is a left turn or straight lane. On road Y, lane A is a left turn only lane. Lanes B and C are straight lanes.

If you were in lane 1 on Road X, which lane would you go into on Road Y (A, B, or C)?

The dotted lines have worn off of the road so most people don't know where to go.

Additional information: There is a stop light just out of the picture to the north on Road Y. Note the solid white line between lanes A and B on road Y. You would like to go straight through the light on road Y.

It would depend on if I needed to go left or straight after making the turn. If straight the middle lane.

From lane 1 I would turn into lane A while standing on the gas pedal in case I needed to merge into one of the other lanes. Not asked, but if I was in lane 2 the lady in lane 1 would keep sliding into lane c requiring me to drive in the ditch.

If I was in Lane 1 and wanted to turn left once I was on Y I'd turn into lane A. If I was wanting to go straight on Y I'd still turn into A then signal and change lanes into B.

            I always thought 1 went to A or B and 2 went to C

Of course if you are in a big one ton truck with stacks there is no wrong answer. You can go where you want at the mini Cooper can just get out of the way

If you have stacks you drive in any lane you want

To start with, you need to be sure where you want to go. That being said, I would think lane 1 would need to stay in lane A, lane 2 is for going straight through or going to lane B.

1 normally gets to choose YA or YB IIRC, pretty sure 2 is supposed to go to YC

Lane 1 goes to lane B and lane 2 goes to lane C. We have the same situation at Loop 336 south and 45 south feeder in Conroe.

I say the correct lane would be A, but I can see a lot would say B is an option since lane 2 could go to C? However, if lane 2 is doing what he should and go to B someone's gonna need to call the insurance Co.
