Whats a good height for a deer water tank?

I'm thinking about making some water tanks to bring to the deer lease, what is a good height to build them so that deer including fawns can drink out of them? I was thinking 24" from the ground to the top, is that to tall? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I use old metal bathtubs for water troughs for the deer and the fawns can drink just fine out of it.......
