i killed this buck during the season just never posted the story or LDP's, well first id like to thank my friend Mario for dragging me out of bed and letting me hunt out of a tree at his hunting spot, it all started on an afternoon at our lease, i was taking an awesome nap, and mario kept bugging me to get up and go hunt i said Naaa its a full moon there not coming out this afternoon, he then said u can put your climber on that tree u want to climb, shoot thats all he had to say, that spot was money. Well there i was in the tree when i hear something scraping behind me, a Big Big 8 pointer 25 yards away scraping facing my way, the only shot i had was straight to his chest, i turn around, mind u the tree that was to my back is now in my way, i lean to the right draw and while im half way at full draw a hear a grunt, a smaller bucks challenging the big one, so he takes off before i can release F&%! i tell my self, i gurnted back at him he stoppes but continues to fight, well 10-15 min later i see a rack coming through the trees. I tell myself the big buck, i get ready, and draw he walks into my shooting lane, and i notice its not the big one SH#! im at full draw looking through my peep, then i hear a voice in my head say "take him hes legal every year u pass on legal buck to wait on a monster and u always fail" next thing u know an arrow was flying 20 yards to the pumpstation. The buck went 25-30 yards and dropped, he wasnt a monster like i was hoping but, i always let them walk and come up empty handed, i finallly took the bad luck off my shoulders, even though iv shot lots of hogs but never a clean shot on a deer
