Who has a 6.4 powerstroke or has ever owned one?

I have a 2009 f250 6.4 identical to that one but only has 1 1/2 level front lift with 35x12.50x20 tires and im getting 16 mpg as long as i keep my foot out of it. I bought it at the end of FEB. and I like it always try to find a reason to go somewhere just to drive it.

08 350 lwb 6" lift with 35's avg 12mpg. got 16 in jan on 18 hr iowa trip. pull my tractor, jeeps and my boat on regular basis and it doesnt know they are back there.

Good friend of mine has a 6.4 with a dpf delete and a Spartan tuner and cold air. Talk about a wake up that truck is bad to the bone now. Ran a srt 8 Chrysler 300 in the 1/8 and beat him by 3-4 lengths. When he isn't driving like an idiot he gets 20-21 mpg. Hope dps doesn't get ahold of you with now dpf though!

I've got one in an '08 F350 Lariat crew cab 4x4. Had Job1 radiator and an EGR valve replaced under warranty. I'm @ 73K with no further problems. 100% stock unless I keep it past the 100K powertrain warranty. I love my truck, but a buddy of mine has a 2011 6.7PSD F350 crew 4x4 Lariat Ultra, and that thing is unbelievable!

I had a 6.0 drove the 6.4 and its is smoother and stronger.

I ended up buying the 6.7 and its tons of fun!

I work at a Ford dealer.Run far away from the 6.4.Save your money and buy the new 6.7. So far we have only worked on two and most people are getting 18mpg.

Best Transmission, PERIOD, HANDS DOWN, NO CONTEST.

The motor, I have had no issues with. Had a programmer on the second week I had it. Fuel milage aint what my 6.0 was but its got tons more torque.

In town: 12.4 avg.

short interstate drive: 16 avg.

Towing: 6.5-8 avg

9 hour one way interstate driving 70mph.....................19 mpg.........that aint too bad for a 4 door 4x4. Best I got in my 6.0 was 22.5 (same trip)
