Look for the food that the bucks were using during the late winter early spring. Figure out the bedding areas and walk between the two. Also check around the water holes/troughs/tanks that the deer are using...Walk around (allot) while the grass is still low and the antlers are visable.......

I would walk some fence lines, draws and around water sources. We find a few around the feeders as well. Sometimes you can see them from the road while driving. I'm always lookin'. Lol

Ride around on a 4-wheeler while standing...
Saves you walking & you can see a little better
(as long as branches don't knock you off)

Interested as well. I've never done it but I am planning on looking in 2 weeks.

              As mentioned.

We like to walk grids around our feed and water areas. Haven't found many near fence lines likes as usually expected, but lots around feed, water and bedding.
My wife and I enjoy hunting sheds more than the actual deer hunt, almost!

We have miles and miles of cross fence..we just ride the fence lines were they cross and normally find them there and ofcourse at or near our water troughs..

back pack ice chest, and walk game trails around water holes or cross fences. Also we find quite a few around feed pens.
