When I hunted Devil's Sinkhole a couple of years ago I stayed in Junction at the Legends Inn. It was clean, not fancy, and cheap ($35-40 night).
I tried to get a room at Sorrells Inn and was told at first they had one, then they didn't, then they did but more than they told me on the phone so I wasn't real impressed.Comment

Check with Glynn Hendley at Western Hill Country Realty in Rocksprings. His office is across the street from two places. He is from there and knows everyone.
