I thinking about getting one of these for a commuter bike and the occasional trip out to the lease sooo...... Anyone have any experience with this bike?

Riden several of them. Uncle uses his for long dual sport rides in terriligua (sp). They are heavy but as long as you aren't going for a hard core off road bike, they are cadillacs. Heck you can even get a multi fuel bike that will run on gas or diesel. If you want something that will perform better offroad, the KLX may be a better choice. They are lighter too.

I purchased one in 06, plenty of power, but a little bit top heavy until you get used to it. , With that siad I love mine and would buy another.
