Two years of Crossfit under my belt.
It's not for everyone, but it's the total package.

I am trying both. P90X one day, then Insanity the next. Havent gotten too far with the Insanity yet, so I dont know if it involves weights or not, but it is extreme cardio. That compared with the weights in P90X and it is an *** kicker.
Dont know how long I will make it with both of them, but I will stay with one or the other.

Both p90x and Insanity will work ONLY if you follow the diet and do the workouts and push through them. That is the only way these workout programs will work. I'm not familiar with Insanity but I am going into Phase 3 with p90x next week.
Here is my before picture when I weighed about 216.
Now here is a picture I took this past Friday. I still have another month or so to go with the program. I weighed in at 193 I believe last week. So yes, p90x works as long as you get after it. I ain't gonna lie, I almost died a few times during the workouts.

Thanks! I know you have been through this chinese torture chamber before...it wasn't fun most of the times. Oh, and if Josh tells you he made it though week 2 of p90x (like he tried to convince me last night) don't believe him. It was only 1 week.

When are you gonna make plans to come out Johnny?
Trust me, I really want to bad! As soon as time allows for us to get up that way, I will let ya know. It probably won't be till after we get back from our World Series baseball tournament in Cooperstown in mid June.
