Bought a double burner with griddle from craiglist,guy said it was from propane depot and cost 250.00.griddle has rust and some pitting can this be restored

Sandblast, re-season and you will be good to go.

I cleaned up an old wood plane and some other tools a couple of years ago using electrolysis. It was easy, and it worked GREAT. Didn't remove metal either.
