    Leupold Vendetta Thoughts

    Hey All:

Just looking for some opinions on the Vendetta. I have very very poor vision and was wondering what some of your thoughts are on the Vendetta. Thanks for the opinions.

Was hoping having a laser through my sights might improve my field of vision. Struggling bad right now with sights.

Anything that projects a light on the deer is illegal in Tx.
            Hogs, no problem.
A simple laser would be better in your situation,(IMO, adjusted to a pre-determined yardage). Remember that a laser beam stays straight, but your arrows trajectory doesn't, so the laser beam won't coincide with all yardages, even if it is on the animal.

If you're considering the Vendetta simply for the laser feature, and not the rangefinding application, you can buy a laser sight and mount somewhat cheaper.
It's been years since I mounted one on a bow, but a search might give you some good choices.
                  In My Opinion.(IMO)
                  sorry

The vendetta is not designed to be a "laser sight " it is a range finder that uses a laser for initial setup. I'm sure a google search for a laser sight would turn you up a few cool laser sights. There is a product on the market called the hind sight witch eliminates your peep sight in turn helping people with bad eye sight. You may want to check that out, goodluck brotha.

I have a buddy who has talked to a Texas Game Warden about the Vandetta and he was told by the GW that they are legal in Texas.

I have shot a bow with one mounted in it and I would buy one. But, I would be more into a faster and flatter shooting bow with one pin and limit the distance I was shooting to within reason.

I just looked at the website and it says it's legal for hunting in Texas.

Can you post the link? If they are legal I'd consider getting one.

Thanks man! Texas wasnt on there when they first came out. There were several debates on here about if it should be legal or not. I'm glad it's on the list now!
