As much as i would love to, the government doesnt pay me enough to buy all American. I pay for quality and look for the best deal. Plus it isnt practical when u can get the same thing for less than half the price.............besides u wont fint an all american computer, tv, just about any electronic!!!

I would rather have US made products, but even they are full of foreign items. I have a Polaris 4 wheeeler, Harley Davidson motorcylce, and drive Ford trucks and at least they are giving an American a job somewhere.

How much better... if the US made shirt lasts twice as long... as the cheap one... it's still worth buying two cheap ones for $2 less than 1 US made one.

In the example you gave, no I wouldnt. But over all I would readily pay a little more for made in the USA products.

Just an out of the blue example...if a made in China coffee cup was 1.99 and a made in the USA cup was 2.20 I'd pay the extra.

I love American made products, just wish I could afford them.

I was looking at scopes today, made in America vs made in Germany, Czeck Republic, Japan etc. Prices were all pretty much the same, but the one made in the Czeck Republic was the best (to my eyes), and slightly (very) cheaper than the others when comparing same features, power etc. Unfortunately, I also looked through a higher grade offering from the same company, and it's quite a bit more money, and I'm going to have to save for it.

Nope -it would be like buying a smoker at Buckees instead of at Academy.

Shirts are basically the same quality..It's crazy to me that there is that much difference in the price, but that is what i found.

                              I would.

You ought to do a sample run, buy both and have them side by side with a sign explaining the difference and see what sells.
