    Any Plumbers Out There?

I just finished installing a new dishwasher at the house. Installation went fine until I went to use the kitchen sink facet. I have no water coming out of the facet in the kitchen sink. The only supply line I shut off was the one to the dishwasher. There is water going to the dishwasher (it works fine) and to all the other facets in my house except for the kitchen sink. The supply line to the dishwasher comes off the line that supplies hot water to the sink facet but I did not turn off the main supply line. Any suggestions on how to get water coming out of the facet?

    Thanks

Just wash your hands in the dishwasher, problem solved. You're welcome.

Is there a tee on the hot side with 2 cutoffs, 1 to sink and 1 to dishwasher? Or did the dishwasher get tapped off the hot supply line with a petcock valve?

No hot or cold water at the faucet in the sink?
Did you install a new fitting to T off the water line to go to the dishwasher? Post a picture of what's there. No, I'm not a plumber but I've broken so many things myself I'm becoming good at fixing.

There are two valves off the hot water supply line. One to the facet and one to the dishwasher and they are both open.

Most likely your valve Gasket was rotten and flushed into your sink hot faucet you will have to dismantle and clean

The worser valve is stuck inside of the line slack switch. Look under the sink for the copper line release sutter, pull it clock wise at the some time lifting the X-clamp. That should redirect the flow to the hot water side of the facet.

Try taking the airator off of the spout, turn the faucet on and see if you have water then. Could be circumstantial that it did what it did.
