      Around Dulak Louisiana i always heard momma call them appoloosas, and yellow cats.

        These are flatheads/opelousas/yellow cats......the bullhead/ mudcat/ polywog above has a TX record of around 5-6 lbs....with most averaging less than 2 lbs. When I was a kid, my grandfather made us throw all polywogs/mudcats up on the bank behind him.
