I told you I hate cows right? Some pics.....

...to show you why I hate the bastids.... Note the last pic where it looks like the one got his legs over and is struggling to get them back. I hope's he's hurting. All this work, time, and game animals coming in to only be destroyed in less than a week. I even have some feeding at 10:30 pm in the full moon. ...and yes I know they are updside down.....we were in a hurry

Next week ....reset t-posts, a string of barbed wire added and sling shot in hand while the acorns are still on the ground.......next year bigger pen, taller panels, more barbed wire and bigger sling shot.

Note the camera rearrangement as well..........cornbreadin' walkin' ribeyes...

I take it no venison in the Smart frying pan tonight? I'm not even 100% sure I'll get to go.

sorry about your luck. use 12 to 15 hog panels they are plenty high and the feeder will be so far from the edge the cows wont bother you it also works on horses.

No vension in sight with the acorns and full moon.....but they're out there...

Amazing how we love to see a large acorn crop shootin' ducks and cuss them while deer hunting.

I feel your pain. The cows on my lease have the ability to get lower than a blackbuck and get under my barbed wire.

These are hog panels......but I am starting to see the benefits of the larger pens.

I'm probably going to wait until the new moon in a couple weeks for that reason.

Hot glue a .38 or .357 casing at the end of an old aluminum arrow and use that as a fix for your problem. After smacking the cows on the backside a time or two with that blunt-tip they get smart and stay clear of your feeder. Has worked for me in the past. If that is too drastic maybe a bigger pen around the feeder to keep the corn from tempting those future rib-eye.

no. load it high and let it fly.

I also have some bulls who took up residence in my pen.l

And I've had people tell me that cows CAN'T eat corn on the ground because they can't pick it up with their lips. BS, huh???

Yeah, I would use cattle panels that are 52" tall.
