    Basketball....

Am I the only one that doesn't get the allure of this game?
It was boring to me as a kid playing it.
It's boring to me now watching it.
It's right up there with soccer on the list of activities that shouldn't be called sports.

Just my opinion and you're entitled to my opinion.

I watch it if its a really good game and other people want to watch it, but you won't ever catch me alone watching basketball. Pick up games with friends can be fun sometimes too

I'll watch the pros a little......but the last 2 minutes of a close game is like 20 minutes at the dentist.

I wish they'd just get this March Madness garbage over with.

            College Basketball=over hype+under deliver

I'd watch 4 soccer matches before I set through a whole college basketball game.

I am not a fan of either sport but I enjoyed shooting baskets in the drive way as a kid.

I did too, but I associate that with a carnival event more than a sport.

Ever watch Bill Laimbeer play basketball with the Pistons teams of the 1980's, especially the late 80's? That's where I learned to like basketball and played that way throughout school. Play hard and play tough and go all out, no matter what the playing surface is how big the ball you are chasing is.

I just got back from three straight days of watching high school basketball in Austin, so yeah, I like basketball. I'm not a fan of the streetball they try to pass off as the NBA, but I really enjoy watching high school and college playoff games where there is still some semblance of fundamental ball.

It's the epitome of a sport to me. It takes quickness, agility, leaping ability, coordination and strength. If that's not a sport, I don't know what is.

I've found that basketball is a whole lot more fun when you can dunk!

the hype is all worth it - you have kids fighting to win the championship, not make the most cash...you have cinderella stories...you have the excitement that surrounds bracket style playoffs...you have incredible athletes competing against each other...you have college bball!

as far as soccer is concerned, it's called the world's game for a reason. more people on this planet play soccer than you can ever imagine. don't believe me? show up to your local youth fields on a saturday morning. a lot of people can't truly appreciate the game as they lack the foot coordination or even the minimal amount of endurance it takes to even play a pickup game.

Most of the time when someone does not like a sport it was becase or is becasue they were no good at it now or as a kid! Just kidding I will watch college Bball, but very seldom the pros unless the Spurs are playing.
