iPhone alarm clock messed up by DST

There must be a fix for this? I did the airplane mode, deleted, rebooted, corrected time zone (mine said Chicago?), was going to use alarm clock app, but it has to be running for it to work, so that is out. Any more ideas?

All my phones have had this problem. When I go to Levelland (or closer to new mexico) it will grab a different tower and change time on me. Goes to NM time. It will mess up my alarms too. I had to turn the time zone setting off and just set it manually.

Could this be a likely scenario?

Did u try the fix in post #7? Worked for mine.
